Now up to 98% of the Russian market of this production is occupied by foreign manufacturers, told the correspondent of TASS in the press service of the company.

"Nearmedic" creates the first Russian full-cycle production of test-systems for the genetic identification of the human personality and the establishment of kinship. The company will produce all components in-house, using raw materials exclusively of domestic producers, which actually means the maximum localization of production", - said the press service.

"Now, before 98% of the Russian market of this production is occupied by foreign manufacturers. For Russia it is strategically important to reduce this percentage. When output to the domestic market sets this figure should be reduced to 20-30%", - noted in the company.

Due to the fact that the company will use its own technology, the cost of test systems is significantly below their foreign counterparts. The scope of the products - genome registration and identification, criminalistic and forensic examination for DNA markers person, the definition of kinship and other types of genetic studies.

The advantage of our products "nearmedic" is the use of the technology of vitrification of the components of the test systems - a kind of transformation of the components in the vitreous form, which is easily dissolved in a special buffer, whereby the sets can be transported and stored at room temperature (imported analogues should be stored in a deep freeze). The shelf life of the kits will be more than two years.

According to the analysis of the activities of potential customers, the company expects by 2020 to produce around 1.5 million tests, which corresponds to the amount of 15 thousand sets per year. The total volume of investments in production will amount to RUB 300 million In 2015, the project was included in the list of import-substituting industries and has received the soft loan in the amount of RUB 202 million at 5% per annum from the entrepreneurship support Fund. It is expected that the commercial product sales will begin already in 2017.
