In Obninsk IPPE (State scientific center of Russian Federation — physics and power Institute named after Alexander Leypunsky), a member of the scientific division of the state Corporation "Rosatom", December 18, 2015 was the start of a particle accelerator TANDETRON. The installation is new and unique for Russia and is best-in-class particle accelerator in the world.
